Time FLIES!

Holy cow it's been over a year since my last post! To be honest, I kind of forgot about this blog . Lincoln can be a little distracting and isn't too happy when I go on the computer. He is growing up to be such an amazing little boy. He started walking at 8 months and has been babbling for some time now repeating sounds and words. His favorite thing to do is read his books and he is very specific about the books he likes. He wants the book he wants, when he wants it, and that's that. It is also great to watch him interacting with our boxer, Roxie. They have become great friends and sometimes I wonder if Roxie might be his favorite family member? He hugs and kisses her and gets excited when he sees her. He also hits her and pulls her ears sometimes, in which case our very patient dog just relocates to a different part of the house.

Lincoln's eating habits are very interesting. He has been on and off with vegetables. He loved peas and carrots for awhile and now wont touch them. He doesn't eat pasta or tomato sauce either. Unless it is on pizza of course... Now before you think I'm a terrible mother for raising a child who won't eat his vegetables, it is important to know about his love affair with fruit. This kid can eat LIMITLESS amounts of banana, kiwi, strawberries, and blueberries. He also loves graham crackers, which we call cookies in my house, and goldfish which are known to Lincoln as "shhhhh". He likes yogurt too, but oddly enough isn't crazy about milk. I guess that is okay because he drinks water like a shhhhh.

When Lincoln was a newborn I thought he was the cutest baby on Earth. Then something weird happened: He got CUTER. I know I am his mom and everything so I may be just a tiny bit biased, but I cannot get over how good looking this kid is! He charms the pants off of everyone with his smile and ridiculously giddy laugh. He makes me so proud to have created him.
